What will you do?

As we grow the business across Europe and beyond, Gain will grow its best-in-class Finance team.

Finance Assistant will be a core member of our Finance team and will play an integral role in the company's financial operations. This entails:

  • Supporting day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations

  • Invoice issuance and dispatch - preparing, issuing and sending sales invoices to clients in a timely manner

  • Making necessary corrections to invoices based on special requests or issues raised by clients

  • Monitoring overdue invoices and proactively contacting clients to ensure prompt payment

  • Maintaining up-to-date records of all invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Assist with various administrative tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the company

Who are you?

We are searching for someone passionate about finance, who is excited by high-growth technology companies and who flourishes in dynamic environments with broad responsibilities. Also, you like to roll up your sleeves and are output-focused. Moreover, we are looking for the following:

  • Education – You hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business administration with a good understanding of basic accounting principles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Your proficiency in MS Excel is at least intermediate (familiarity with formulas such as "if", "xlookup", and pivot tables will be beneficial)

  • Systems knowledge – Exposure to one of the integrated financial management/accounting software tools (e.g. Xero etc) is a plus

  • Structured – You are well-organised and like to plan ahead

  • Communication – You display superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical – You have great analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Detail – You have exceptional attention to detail

  • Self-starting – You proactively come up with new ideas

  • Languages – You are fluent in English

  • Availability - You are available to join us for at least 30 hours per week
